TI Cycles introduces Belgian Ridley Bikes in India.

TI Cycles of India, one of the country’s largest manufacturer of cycles with brands like BSA, Hercules, Montra and their latest Mach City for commuter segment has launched the Belgium-based bicycle brand Ridley Bikes in the Indian market. The entire range of bicycles from this world-renowned brand, which includes an India-specific product portfolio created by Ridley Bikes, was introduced by Mr. Joachim Aerts, Chief Executive Officer – Ridley Bikes and Mr L Ramkumar, Managing Director – Tube Investments of India, in the presence of Mr. Arun Alagappan, President – TI Cycles of India and Mr. Richard Craig Wittenberg, VP Operations – Ridley Bikes.


Ridley Bikes, Belgium was established in 1990, and is today considered one of the leading innovators in Bicycle Technology in Carbon and Alloy for key segments of Road, Cyclocross and MTB. Headquartered in Paal-Beringen, Belgian Ridley Bikes is distributed in over 30 countries and is a proud sponsor of the Lotto Soudal, Cult Energy, Telnet Fedia and Sunweb Professional cycling teams. They hold numerous patents for aerodynamic design of frames and forks and have their products tested in wind tunnels and universities throughout the world. It also supports one of the leading UCI World teams Team Lotto Soudal, whose riders won 4 stages at the 2015 edition of Tour de France.


A total of 9 Ridley models were launched with the cycles priced upwards of INR 63000/- The India-specific range of Ridley bikes will be available in the market from the month of June 2016. In addition to these, there are 14 other high-end models which will be serviced on request from customers.
