Cycling Federation of India successfully conducted a three day cycling Coaching Course at their World Cycling Centre – Satellite India, Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, New Delhi from 12th to 14th May 2016.

The course was aimed at coaches from across the country from various participating levels. A total of 35 coaches participated in the course.

This course was conducted for selection of the Coaches for UCI level 1 coaching course to be held at New Delhi from 19th to 26th June 2016, which will be completely funded by the International Cycling Union (UCI).

The course was planned and conducted by Sh. R K Sharma, Chief Coach, Sh. Amar Singh, Arjuna Awardee, Mr. VN Singh, International Commissaire. Sh. G S Bawa was specially invited to deliver a lecture on sports psychology. Following the training provided at this course, the following coaches have been selected for the UCI level 1 Coaching Course

Apart from the above Indian coaches, 15 foreign coaches from Asian subcontinent will also take part in the said Coaching course.

The very inception of the World Cycling Centre-Satellite India was for programs like the National Cycling Course. The centers prominence and deliverability will only keep reaching out to new height, promises the Cycling Federation of India.
