CRANK is proud to present its INTERNATIONAL PARTNER TOUR the Nedbank Tour De Tuli. If bicycle touring is your passion then this one just has to be on your bucket list
The tour is Africa’s premier mountain bike event and is a multi stage six day long multi country event that takes place in the Greater Mapungubwe Transfrontier Conservation Area spanning Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa. The tour gives cyclists the most unforgettable opportunity of cycling in remote Africa. The cycle route will be predominantly single and jeep track and cyclists will also have the privilege of riding along ancient elephant tracks
You must have seen game and more specifically the big five but to see game while riding is a story to tell your grandchildren. And not to forget that while stamping your passport on the borders on a river crossing you need to watch out for that lurking crock who may just be interested in your bike !
The tour takes place from 27 July to 1 August 2017 and is organized by the Tour de Wilderness and delivers a one-of-a-kind multi-stage mountain bike experience, taking 350 participants through 250km of protected wilderness – all to raise funds for non-profit organization, Children in the Wilderness (CITW).
Registrations have officially opened and the start and end points are the Limpopo Valley Airfield Botswana and the Mapungubwe National Park respectively
If you really want to strike this off your bucket list and donate 25K ZAR head out. Its an invite only for 350 riders. So if you really want to go, get in touch with CRANK and we will help
Of course we will give you tour report later but for now feast your eyes on what you may see
